Charleston police respond to shots-fired call on West Side

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Charleston police detained several people Wednesday following shots fired on the West Side.

The gun fire was reported in the area of Gleenwood Avenue and 6th Street before 4 p.m.

According to police, the shots are connected with a fight between several people.

Two suspect vehicles were later located. No charges have been filed at this time.

No one was struck by gunfire.
