Charleston police conduct 4th sting of the week, arresting 9 people at Town Center

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The Charleston Police Department conducted its fourth sting operation of this week Friday, arresting nine people at the Charleston Town Center mall.

Charges ranged from capias to summons on trespassing. The arrests were made in undercover stings conducted by the department’s Hybrid Patrol.

Two previous stings at the mall earlier this week resulted in 14 arrests. Police arrested 10 people in an operation Thursday at the Capitol Market.
