Charleston man found guilty of possessing 195 grams of meth

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A federal jury found a Charleston man guilty Tuesday of possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.

Brian Terry, 32, was the passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for speeding in St. Albans in April 2016. The officers who stopped him were part of the Metro Drug Enforcement Network Team.

Terry consented to a search, which resulted in officers finding around 195 grams of crystal methamphetamine in his groin area.

Terry faces between 10 years and life in prison. He will be sentenced Dec. 14.
