Charleston man arrested following wandering naked child

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Charleston man wanted on charges following a series of events including a house fire was arrested Wednesday.

Brad Holley, 37, was charged with child abuse creating risk of injury and wanton endangerment.

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for Holley on March 30.

Holley’s father-in-law had found Holley’s four-year-old son walking up the stairs to his house. When he asked about the whereabouts of the boy’s two-year-old brother, he was not in the area.

According to a criminal complaint, the grandfather took the child and drove to the home of his daughter, Kama Holley, 33.

The man told investigators once the two-year-old was found, Brad Holley appeared at the home. He said Holley pulled out a gun and threatened him, saying , “I will kill you.”

Holley eventually left the home, and a fire began at the Holley’s home.

Authorities responded to the scene. Brad Holley was taken to the hospital, but ran away upon arrival.

Kama Holley was arrested March 31 and charged with child abuse creating risk of injury.
