CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The national average price for unleaded gas ended a 27-day streak of declines last week and has increased for six straight days.
The Charleston area average price Monday of $2.69 a gallon is up three cents from Sunday and 13 cents from a week ago.
Charleston gas prices are currently among the highest of the metro areas of West Virginia.
