Charleston BZA approves electronic sign for Civic Center project

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The Charleston Civic Center will soon have a new electronic sign as a part of its multi-million dollar renovation project.

The Charleston Board of Zoning Appeals approved a plan at its Thursday meeting to install a 260-square foot digital sign at the Charleston Civic Center.

The sign will be mounted on the side of the parking garage. The civic center plans to take the current sign down, which hasn’t been used for several years.

The sign on the Lee Street side of the building will also be renovated.
