DANVILLE, W.Va. — Three children were taken to the hospital Wednesday after their Boone County school bus wrecked on Route 3 around noon.
Their injuries were believed to be minor, according to emergency dispatchers who said the students were taken to Boone Memorial Hospital.
There were about a dozen kids on the bus, which was headed to the county vocational school.
The crash involved the bus only and happened between the intersection with U.S. Route 119 and Brookview Elementary School.
Route 3 remained closed as crews clear up power lines knocked down by the accident.
