MADISON, W.Va. — Boone County police have released the name of the Scott High School student who was killed in a weekend crash at the former Hobet Mountaintop Removal Mining site.
According to authorities, Jonathan “Tater” Lester, 17, was a passenger in a truck being driven by Dylan Price, 19, of Julian. Price is in South Western Regional Jail charged with DUI causing death.
Price is being held on $100,000 bail.
