LAKE, W.Va. — A collision between an ATV and SUV in Logan County claims the life of a Boone County man.
Logan County Deputies say Dale Pagano, 47, of Meadow Fork was killed when his ATV crashed head-on with the vehicle on Hewett Creek Road near Lake, W.Va. around 10:30 p.m. Thursday night.
Pagano was travelling at a high rate of speed according to witnesses who spoke with deputies and crossed the center line, striking the vehicle head on. Pagano was ejected over an embankment and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the SUV, age 19, was treated at the scene but not seriously injured.
