Arrest made in strip club fire

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A man has been charged with setting a fire early Wednesday morning at a Cabell County strip club.

Creio Chance Bishop, 21, of Huntington, was charged second degree arson. Bishop is accused of setting fire to JB’s Gentleman’s Club on U.S. Route 60 in Huntington around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Cabell County Deputies observed Bishop flee the area on foot and detained him in a nearby Walmart parking lot. Authorities said Bishop set the blaze because he didn’t want his girlfriend to work there any longer.

The fire was contained to the entrance of the establishment. Nobody was injured.

Bishop is being held at the Western Regional jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bond.
