Arrest made in Jackson County death

EVANS, W.Va. — A Jackson County man is in custody after allegedly killing his former brother-in-law in Jackson County, sheriff’s deputies said.

Darrell “Pee Wee” Williams, Jr., 28, of Kenna, was arrested at a residence in Charleston Friday morning and charged with shooting and killing Bruce Deal. Deal’s body was found by a family member at his home in Evans, the criminal complaint said.

It’s alleged Williams stole a pistol from his father. A .380 shell casing was found near the body, according to the criminal complaint. Deal suffered a fatal wound to the head.

Williams is in the South Central Regional Jail without bail. He told police he was  high on meth and shot Deal, according to the criminal complaint.
