Air Guard finds nothing in Braxton County

FRAMETOWN, W.Va. — Braxton County officials called off a search for a reported downed aircraft after hours of searching with no results.

The reports of the possible wreck were made on Tuesday at around 7 p.m. by residents of the Millrun area. First responders spent several hours searching near Frametown. They didn’t find anything.

According to the Braxton County Emergency Management Facebook page, the search was officially called off early Wednesday after the West Virginia Air National Guard found no signs of distress signals or a crash site.
