INSTITUTE, W.Va. — WVSU and its Board of Governors is expected to announce the university’s 11th president on Tuesday.
A news conference will be held in the Earl Francis Lloyd Lobby of the D. Stephen and Diane H. Walker Convocation Center at 2 p.m.
The naming of the new president follows a national search and on campus interviews with three finalists that took place late last month.
The new president will succeed current WVSU President Brian Hemphill who is leaving to become president of Radford University in Virginia.
