CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Several workers at a Charleston car dealership were exposed to tear gas Friday.
Workers said someone bumped into an old safe at Downtown Ford at the Patrick Street Plaza, setting off tear gas that was used to protect the safe.
Charleston firefighters and police officers were on the scene shortly after the call came in to Metro 911 at about 9:35 a.m.
