CROSS LANES, W.Va. — A man was arrested Saturday in connection with a rental equipment theft that took place last month in Kanawha County.

James Quesenberry, 37, of Poca, is charged with breaking into United Rentals in Cross Lanes and with grand larceny.
Kanawha County deputies said Quesenberry stole a pick-up truck, a trailer and two side-by-sides on Dec. 19. Quesenberry told deputies he’s the man in the surveillance video seen using an excavator on the site to knock a fence down so he could drive away with the stolen items.
Deputies believe there’s a second person involved in the crime. A second pick-up, a white U-Haul, has been recovered along with the stolen trailer and one of the side-by-sides.
Quesenberry is being held in the South-Central Regional Jail on $30,000 bail.
