KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. –A man was airlifted from a side-by-side accident Tuesday afternoon in Kanawha County.
The incident occurred near Hogpen Road in Belle. Sergeant Burns with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office said a 78-year old man was thrown from a side-by-side and it’s believed he has suffered internal bleeding and a laceration to the head.
They had to shut down Route 60 near Simmons Creek in order to make room for a helicopter but are currently back open.
