CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The National Weather Service has placed parts of seven counties under a flash flood warning until 6:15 p.m.
The warning includes Boone, Cabell, Kanawha, Lincoln, Mason, Putnam, and Wayne Counties.
The National Weather Service says radar has indicated that between two and three inches of rain have already fallen in parts of the affected counties, and another inch is possible.
