PRENTER, W.Va. — A man was died in a fire in Boone County Monday morning.
The blaze was first reported at around 6:40 a.m. in the 4400 block of Prenter Road near Seth.
Flames were showing when fire crews arrived on the scene.
The victim’s name was not immediately released.
The state Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
It marked the second fatal fire in the state in 12 hours. A man was killed in a blaze on Hill Street in Parkersburg Sunday evening.
