FAIRPLAIN, W.Va.— A fire on New Year’s in Jackson County had emergency crews working for hours to extinguish the blaze.
According to a post on social media by the Ravenswood Fire Department, firefighters arrived at a Popular Drive home in Fairplain home shortly after 10 p.m. Once on scene, crews found a “fully involved structure fire.”
The post also said that additional crews from Silverton and Ripley, along with Jackson County EMS, Consumer Gas and AEP responded to the fire.
No injuries were reported.
