PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. — A Putnam County woman has been arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting a minor.
Annika Chapman, 38, is accused of sexually abusing a boy in 2022.
Court documents show the boy’s guardian reported the assault to police.
The boy, who was 13 years old at the time of the incident, reported to authorities at the Child Advocacy Center that the abuse took place in a home.
Chapman is now charged with third-degree sexual assault. She’s being held in the Western Regional Jail on a $20,000 bond.
