WAYNE COUNTY, W.Va. — A suspect has been named in an investigation into a Sunday house fire in Wayne County that left two women dead.
West Virginia State Police announced warrants had been obtained for Joshua Morrow, 42, for two counts of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree arson.
Morrow is linked to the fire that killed his girlfriend Britney Brown and Erma Brown.
The deadly blaze came at a home in the 2100 block of Spring Valley Drive near Ceredo.
An Amber Alert was issued Monday for 15-month-old Makynlee Morrow but was found later in the day in Lincoln County. Investigators have reason to believe the fire and the report of a missing infant were connected.
Morrow’s last known location was in Huntington, and State Police say he is considered armed and dangerous.
