WAYNE COUNTY, W.Va.— A fire that left two dead in Wayne County is being investigated by the WV State Police and the WV State Fire Marshals Office.
The fire happened at a home located in the 2100 block of Spring Valley Drive near Ceredo around 10:40 p.m. Sunday evening. Both victims are believed to be adult females. The victims have been transported to the WV Medical Examiner’s office for autopsy and positive identification.
Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is also helping with the investigation.
