KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va.——-An arrest has been made and warrants issued following an investigation into an accidental shooting that occurred last month.

Kanawha County deputies responded to a shooting around 21 Diagnon Drive. With their investigation, they discovered that convicted felon, James Wesley Brogan, had unintentionally shot himself in the leg with a .38-caliber pistol.

The investigation led them to a trailer on Cone Run Road belonging to Henon Wesley Snodgrass who is also a convicted felon. A search warrant that was executed at the trailer resulted in police recovery four firearms and over 100 rounds of ammunition.

Brogan was arrested and has been charged with a felony count of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and a felony count of wanton endangerment. His bond is set for $10,000 cash.

Deputies have filed warrants against Snodgrass for two felony counts of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. Snodgrass has yet to be located. He may be driving an older model Cheverolet Colorado.
