CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A man pleaded guilty Monday to a misdemeanor in connection with striking a pedestrian that caused his death on Charleston’s East End.
Brandon Scott Turley-Ward pleaded guilty to negligent homicide in the death of Carl Wiley.
Wiley died after being struck in May at the intersection of Washington St. East and Bradford Street.
Turley-Ward pleaded guilty to the charge listed in the indictment.
Kanawha County Circuit Judge Dave Hardy will sentence him at a later date.
