KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. — The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office and the Charleston Police Department are looking for a suspect who is believed to have broken into two eating establishments in Kanawha County.
A suspect was seen on surveillance video breaking into a cash register at Ridgeview BBQ through at around 8:25 on September 23. The male suspect was seen leaving in a black vehicle, where he then broke into Tudor’s Biscuit World on Charleston’s East End approximately 30 minutes later.
The suspect was able to gain access to the Ridgeview BBQ store after breaking through a side door.
Charleston Police Department investigators reviewed surveillance video that confirmed the suspect at the Charleston Tudor’s Biscuit World was the same as the Ridgeview BBQ suspect.
The suspect is being described as a white male with a goatee. He was seen wearing a red, white, and blue ballcap with a blue sweatshirt and blue sweatpants. He was driving a black Dodge Journey with just one hubcap on the rear driver’s side wheel.
