The Barboursville Target finally has a date to reopen after a landslide caused part of the building to break off in early February.

Baboursville Mayor ChrisTatum said the reopening date of the retail store is set for Sunday, Nov. 3.

The opening of the retail store will come almost 10 months after the hillside behind Target began slipping, which caused a back corner of the store to go with it.

Since the incident the store has vowed to reopen the store. And crews have been working the past several months in order to rebuild the part of the store that broke off in the landslide. They have also been working to reinforce the hillside where the store is located.
