CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Charleston woman has been convicted of child neglect after her two children were found with injuries in 2023.
Capree Moss, 22, of Charleston, was convicted Thursday on one count of Child Neglect Creating Substantial Risk of Bodily Injury from her November 21, 2023 arrest. When Charleston police officers performed a wellness check, they located Moss and her two juvenile children. Both children had external injuries to their facial and neck areas, as well as internal head injuries.
Moss will be sentenced on October 10, 2024, and will face a maximum of five years in prison.
