CHARLESTON, W.Va. — An argument between neighbors Tuesday night left a Charleston man shot and another man in custody.
Police said Charles Myers, 60, shot his neighbor, Melvin Carpenter, during an argument on Woodbine Avenue.
Carpenter was shot in the stomach and arm. He was taken to the hospital. There was no immediate word on his condition.
Myers is charged with malicious wounding and is being held on $100,000 bail in the South Central Regional Jail.
