RIPLEY, W.Va. — At least three people were injured when a car went through the front of the CAMC Telemedicine Center in Ripley Wednesday morning.

Authorities said the car went through one of the two large windows on the front of the single-story building at around 10:50 a.m.

At least some of those injured were outside the building. A CAMC spokesman said there were patients in the telemedicine exam rooms at the time of the collision.

No employees were injured.

An engineer was on the scene by early afternoon to check structural damage and staff were evaluating equipment to see if it had been damaged.

The Ripley Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
