MOSSY, W.Va. — A Fayette County man faces numerous criminal charges after he allegedly robbed a gas station and then attacked his girlfriend for identifying him.
Fayette County deputies said they’ve arrested Clinton Hall, 50, of Mossy.
Hall is charged with armed robbery after allegedly holding up the Midway T&C gas station on June 15.
Deputies said during the investigation Hall’s girlfriend identified him as the suspect and later they learned he attacked her. A news release said he strangled the woman, dragged her into the woods and struck her with a handgun. The woman had to be hospitalized.
Hall is also charged with kidnapping, strangulation and malicious wounding.
Hall is being held in the Southern Regional Jail on $100,000 bail.
