CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Kanawha County circuit judge has denied a motion to reduce bond for one of the three men charged in a shots fired incident near Shawnee Park.
Attorneys for Kaden Bowman, 24, of Dunbar, asked Circuit Judge Maryclaire Akers during a Thursday hearing to reduce Bowman’s $100,000 bond.
Akers denied the request.
Bowman, Antonio Jacobs, 18, of St. Albans. and Zion Clark, 23, of Dunbar, were arrested last month for shots fired about two months from the Shawnee Spots Complex. All three are charged with wanton endangerment.
All three are lodged at the South Central Regional Jail.
No one at Shawnee was hurt. Children were participating in the West Virginia Soccer Association’s Open Cup event. All activity was suspended at the event for the day.
