AMANDAVILLE, W.Va. — A man was struck and killed on U.S. Route 60 west of St. Albans in Kanawha County late Sunday night.
Kanawha County deputies said Joshua Miller, 39, of St. Albans walked into traffic near the Amandaville Memorial Bridge at just before 11 a.m.
Deputies said Miller was struck by a vehicle driven by Alexis Moore, 22, of St. Albans. She has been charged with DUI but as of right now is not charged with Miller’s death.
The information from the investigation will be turned over to the Kanawha County Prosecutor’s Office for further review, the sheriff’s department said.
Moore did stop after the collision.
U.S. Route 60 was closed for several hours after the wreck.
