CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Three new Charleston police officers were sworn-in during a Monday morning ceremony at Charleston City Hall.

The new officers, two men and one woman, will begin their training Tuesday morning with the Charleston Police Department Training Division before heading to the State Police Academy for additional training.

The officers were sworn-in by Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin and interim Police Chief Scott Dempsey.
