13 arrested in Jackson County warrant sweep

JACKSON COUNTY, W.Va. — Authorities in Jackson County arrested 13 people Tuesday as part of a warrant sweep.

The Jackson County Bureau of Investigation, Sheriff’s Office and the Ravenswood Police Department made the sweep as part of a focus on a multi-state methamphetamine investigation. The drugs were from Mexican cartels, according to officials.

Authorities arrested:

— Danielle Seagraves, 40, on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and delivery of a controlled substance;
— Nicholas Hopper, 34, for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance;
— Bradley Hickman, 20, for three counts of delivery of a controlled substance;
— William P. Huft, 62, on charges of delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit a felony;
— Elizabeth Conley, 32, on four counts of delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit a felony;
— Sarah J. Yoho, 19, on a charge of conspiracy to commit a felony;
— Claude L. Slate, III, 23, on a felony fleeing from police in a vehicle charge;
— Jeremy Wilson, 30, for possession of a controlled substance;
— Jason B. Staats, 24, for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance;
— Kathleen M. Huft, 61, on a chrage of possession of a controlled substance;
— Amber D. McCaman, 26, on a possession of a controlled substance charge; and
— Kaitlin J. McNeely, 22, conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor.

All 13 people were placed at South Central Regional Jail.

Authorities also seized $320,000 worth of drugs in the sweep.
